List of Sheriff Gaming casinos
Netherlands based Sheriff Gaming isn’t quite as old as some industry giants such as Microgaming, but that hasn't stopped the firm from becoming a player in an industry that is rapidly expanding. Sheriff Gaming has become known for its wide array of 3D-styled video slots, which feature crisp animations complete with animated backgrounds. These games were available at online casinos and the company was looking to move them into land casinos throughout the world too. But that was all before the company had its license revoked and was declared bankrupt in early 2014.

Review of Sheriff Gaming casino software
Sheriff Gaming is widely known for its 3D slots. Popular titles such as French Cuisine and The Amsterdam Master Plan feature some of the most lively slot screens that we have ever seen, and the in-game animations featured when a payline is hit are second to none. Additional games that we wholeheartedly recommend include Abra Cadabra, Beretta's Vendetta, and Cars and Cash, all of which are available for free play in our games section.
In addition to its great slots, Sheriff Gaming develops traditional casino fare such as table games, keno, and scratch cards. The table games are well designed and very playable, and Sheriff has an excellent presentation that feels both classy and action packed. Table games offered by Sheriff include Craps, Casino Hold'Em, Baccarat, Roulette, European Blackjack, American Blackjack, Single Deck Blackjack, and Caribbean Poker. Additionally, Sheriff offers a few progressive modes for these games, allowing for lucky punters to hit it big, albeit not in the same league as the huge progressives offered by developers like Microgaming or Net Entertainment.
The games produced by Sheriff Gaming are all designed to be played inside your web browser window, so there is no client software to download and install. Casinos that offer these games generally have them as part of a bunch of games from several different software providers, so it is difficult to draw any conclusions about the quality of the casino purely based on the use of this software. However there are a number of good quality casinos that have these games, as you can see from the table above.
Some disturbing news that came our way in September 2013 was that The Alderney GCC had suspended Sheriff Gaming's license pending an investigation into the company's owners, due to their involvement in running a number of Dutch facing online casinos. The company maintained that it had done nothing wrong, however further developments saw Sheriff's license revoked and a court-ordered bankruptcy amidst claims of involvement in money laundering and drug dealing by the company's owners. Casinos were understandably quick to drop Sheriff's games. This was followed up with claims made by a former Sheriff employee that the company's progressive jackpot games were rigged so that they would only pay out to the owner's friends and family!
Summary
The slot machines and other casino games from Sheriff Gaming were of a high visual quality, and really gave punters an entertaining gameplay experience. There were several good casino licensees offering the games, which makes it all the more disappointing that this promising game developer has seemingly self-imploded. However in more recent times some of the company's I.P. has been acquired by Novomatic which has re-released a small number of the studio's games in a mobile compatible format.
