Review of 1x2 Gaming casino software
1x2 Gaming is an online betting software developer that was formed in 2003 and is headquartered in the UK town of Brighton & Hove. The company is known for developing a series of online gambling titles that include slots, table games, virtual sports, bingo and keno games, as well as scratch cards.
Games
It is likely that only experienced online punters will recognize 1x2 Gaming, due to their relatively small library of slots and limited distribution. There are roughly 30 games lining the company’s library. The games seem to mostly have a cartoonish and unrefined look, with thick lines and rudimentary graphic sets in the titles, but they do mostly play well, and there is something to be said for the fluidity in which the games play. Many of the slot features are pretty standard, and you will find bonuses such as free spins, wild symbols, and pick’em rounds to help you bolster your wins. While the games themselves are nothing special, they do provide a gaming experience that is pretty decent.
Traditional casino games are also developed by 1x2 Gaming, including regular Vegas staples such as Blackjack, Baccarat, Three Card Poker, Roulette and Caribbean Stud sitting alongside other games such as Sic Bo, Six Shooter, and Sharp Shooter, which aren’t available to be played all the time. In my opinion these table games are much better presented than the slots, and I found myself sticking around to play these much longer than I did on the slot machines.
1x2 Gaming also produces some pretty basic Virtual Sports games. They offer a large number of virtual football leagues to wager on and you can watch the results pan out on your screen. Other games like Bingo and Keno and the instant win games are pretty mediocre, although the game Treasure Tomb title did keep me playing for a long time.
Conclusion
1x2 Gaming is a software developer that produces a wide variety of games, but whose clear best category is table games. While the slots do steal a lot of people’s attention, it is my opinion that they are mediocre, and I would have preferred to see the production values from the table games put into the dozens of slots available. Still, 1x2 Gaming has recently managed to get its games distributed into some well known online casinos, so there is a good chance you will get a chance to play their titles.
