LeoVegas subsidiary LeoVegas.News has become the chief sponsor of Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio in Italy's Serie A, skirting the rules that prevent gambling operators from sponsoring clubs.
The two sides have been working together since 2021 and this deal is an extension of that original agreement. LeoVegas.News, and thereby its gambling brand LeoVegas, gets exclusive marketing opportunities, including the chance to have its logo used on team grounds. LeoVegas.News will get to provide fans of the club with their own exclusive deals, including getting to use the club's logo in material.
Commenting on the deal, Atalanta BC Marketing and Commercial Director Romano Zanforlin said: "Being able to continue to include LeoVegas.News among our sponsors is a source of utmost pride. We pride ourselves on every partnership renewal because it's not just a testament to our ability to fulfil our targets but also that we can and must commit and strive for further and even greater goals by working together."
LeoVegas.News spokesperson Paola Mala added: "We pride ourselves on renewing our [partnership] with Atalanta also as a way to consolidate our strategic foothold within the local territory. Our assurance in this team's strength, in the talent of its champions and in the passion of its fanbase never wavered one bit."
