Betsson is closing its Colorado sportsbook at the end of the month, making it the fifth brand to leave the state during the year.
The company operates its book under the Betsafe brand, and that brand will stop accepting any new customers on September 6th. Deposits will also cease on that day.
On September 16th, there will be no new bets able to be placed, and all funds will need to be withdrawn by September 27th. On September 30th, all accounts will be closed. Any funds remaining in wallets will then be paid out in accordance with the company's terms and conditions.
In a statement, a Betsson representative said: "As communicated initially, our B2C operations in Colorado served primarily to display our sportsbook for B2B purposes and to provide us with valuable first-hand insights into the dynamics of the US online sports betting market."

some contraction definitely needs to happen in these states. There are so many operating that the market is saturated. You gotta let it shake out to see what the demands actually are.
