Tennessee Fines ZenSports, Fanatics

This week it was revealed that the Tennessee Sports Wagering Council will be fining ZenSports and Fanatics over various violations to the Volunteer State's gaming policies.

ZenSports was found to not have enough reserves in their financial account on at least three separate occasions during December of last year. This resulted in the company being fined $60,000.

For its part, Fanatics was fined $50,000 for allowing eight excluded players to place bets with the company. The total amount came as there were eight individual fines of $6,250. Fanatics claims that the errors occurred while it was taking over the U.S.-facing side of the PointsBet operation, which was completely closed in April.

No comment from either party was available at press time.
