Pennsylvania Gamign nRevnues Hit $520.9 Million in May

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board revealed the Keystone State's gaming numbers for May 2024, noting that revenues rose 8.68% to $520.9 million during the period.

The numbers saw retail slot revenues rise 1.5% to $214.5 million and land-based table game revenues climb 2.5% to $83.7 million. Online gaming was the biggest climber in terms of percentage, as cyber revenues jumped 23.5% to $174 million. Online slot revenues were $126.9 million, while online table game revenues were $44.9 million. Online poker rake was $2.8 million.

Sportsbetting handle for the month was $591.9 million, up 19.4% from last year. Taxable revenues on the activity were up 7.5% to $44.2 million.

Overall taxes paid to the state during the month for gambling-related businesses were $216.3 million.
