The state of Nevada saw its gaming revenues rise by 7% in April, with the Silver State's casinos generating $1.24 billion in sales.
Slots generated $886.8 million of that revenue total, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Multi-denomination slot revenues were up 26.4% to $586.8 million, while penny machines dropped 21.5% to $216.6 million. $25 slots saw revenues surge 137.6% to $1.4 million, but $5 slots dropped 39.6% to $4.5 million.
Table games generated $353.4 million during the month. Blackjack generated $110.2 million of that total. Baccarat led the way in terms of growth, jumping 72.5% to $76.1 million. Craps saw the biggest decline, dropping 25.5% to $30.3 million.
Sportsbetting revenues were up 32.1% to $24.5 million.
The Las Vegas Strip saw revenues climb 6.6% to $666.1 million. 61.4% of that total was from slots, with the rest coming from table games.
The Clark County Boulder Area saw revenues of $83.1 million, up 8.5%. Downtown Las Vegas saw revenues climb 11.1% to $82.8 million.
