Soft2Bet Gets Ontario Regulatory Approval

Gaming software and white-label provider Soft2Bet announced this week that they've been granted approval to begin operations in the Canadian province of Ontario by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

The approval comes in the form of a Certificate of Registration and will see the company launching their Tooniebet brand. The site will provide slots, table games, and other betting options to customers in the province. A launch date for the site wasn't made available by the company at press time.

For Soft2Bet, the certification will mark the first step into the North American market. The company has been trying to make head roads in the continent and has also applied for a gaming license in New Jersey.

Regarding the certification, Soft2Bet Head of Regulatory Compliance Elisabeth Isaksson said: "Being registered with the AGCO in Ontario is a testament to the work our compliance and regulatory teams are doing daily to enable our continued expansion in the world's largest regulated markets. We're immensely excited about taking our first steps in North America and look forward to licensing and launching in more jurisdictions in the region."
