F1 Grand Prix Pushes Nevada Gaming Revenues Up

The Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix had a huge impact on Nevada's November 2023 gambling numbers, as revenues came in up 12.6% to $1.37 billion.

The race took place between November 16th-18th and saw over 100,000 people flock to Sin City to watch the festivities. Although revenues have been growing in comparable months, November's totals were higher, suggesting that racegoers were responsible for the surge.

Table game revenue was up 44.5% to $505.5 million, with baccarat revenues jumping 200% to $181.4 million. Blackjack generated $121.2 million. Slot revenues were down slightly, but generated $868.8 million in revenue.

Las Vegas revenues were $1.21 billion, up 14.3%. The Strip's revenues alone accounted for $821 million of that total, up 22.6%.

Mobile sportsbetting revenues were up 5.4% to $21.2 million, with basketball jumping 22.5% to $11.8 million. NFL revenues were down 23.3% to $17.6 million.

Taxes generated for the period were $85.4 million, up 9.49% from last year.
