The Nevada Gaming Control Board announced this week that the Silver State's gaming revenues jumped 3.1% in October when compared to the year prior, hitting $1.32 billion during the month.
The total was also up 3.9% from the $1.27 billion generated in September, and marks the highest revenue total ever generated.
Slots generated $894.9 million of the revenue total, up 2% from last year. Multi-denomination slots generated $527.8 million, up 16.3%, while other slot games dropped 11.7% to $271.9 million.
Table game revenues were $420.3 million, up 4.2%. Baccarat generated $89.8 million, up 35.3% from last year. Blackjack revenues were down 12.6% to $114.1 million. Craps revenues were up 8.2% to $40.4 million, while roulette revenues were up 4.2% to $34.5 million. Ultimate Texas Hold'em revenues were down 13.9% to $13.5 million. Three-card poker revenues dropped 5.6% to $10 million.
Sportsbetting revenues were up 19.9% to $61.1 million. Football bets generated $48.3 million of the total, while baseball revenues were $9.5 million, basketball revenues were $3.2 million, and ice hockey wagers were $2.2 million. Parlay cards generated $1.5 million, and other sports generated $3.5 million.
The Las Vegas Strip was the major earner for the state, generating 54.3% of total revenues, up 1.2% from last year.
