Red Rake Gets Pennsylvania License

Maltese slot and table game developer Red Rake Gaming announced this week that it has been granted a gaming licence in the state of Pennsylvania, and is now able to provide its content to licensed casinos in the Keystone State.

The license will see Red Rake slots like Captain Wild, Tiki Goddess, and Mega Rich being made available to online casinos in Pennsylvania. The company also has a slate of table games like blackjack and roulette, which can also be deployed. At the outset, Red Rake is partnering with Golden Nugget Online Gaming, which will deploy the company's games to their casino customers.

Golden Nugget Online boasts more than 500 games through its app, but is in a crowded marketplace where they're competing with the likes of DraftKings, BetMGM, and others with million-dollar marketing budgets.

"We could not be more thrilled to have been approved for operating in Pennsylvania and already have seen a huge demand from operators for our content across the state," said Red Rake Gaming Managing Director Nick Barr. "We are equally delighted to now being able to offer the players who have enjoyed our social games over the years to have the ability to play with real money in Pennsylvania. We are extremely confident about the US and the integral part it will play in Red Rake Gaming's continued growth."

A launch date for the games wasn't known at press time.
