PokerStars VR Rebrands as Vegas Infinite

This week it was revealed that Flutter Entertainment has rebranded its PokerStars VR social betting product to the new moniker Vegas Infinite in order to showcase the other free casino games in the software.

The new name will further facilitate the expansion of the app, as the product expands to offer more slots, table games, and other casino titles. The app was initially launched in 2018 as PokerStars VR, but eventually went on to encompass games like blackjack, roulette, and others. The product lets punters see others in real time and facilitates chat and other social interaction.

Players who want in on the action can do so with Oculus Quest, Steam VR, and PlayStation VR2 headsets.

Regarding the change, PokerStars Director of VR and Innovation James O'Reilly said, "As we approach our fifth anniversary, it's incredible to think how far our game has come. From a cutting-edge experiment in applying virtual reality to the poker table, we've grown to become a living entertainment destination. We have a full suite of games and experiences played in otherworldly environments that are home to an avid community of players.

"Today, we're much more than poker and much more than VR. Vegas Infinite is where we're taking our players next and there's lots more in store."
