Law enforcement in Ukraine has announced that they've conducted a series of raids on gambling establishments throughout the capital city of Kyiv, taking down 16 sites that were operating as one large enterprise.

The Ukraine Bureau of Economic Security conducted the raids, seizing computers, phones, technical equipment, and televisions valued at UAH4 million. Detectives claim that the establishments were offering gambling services like slots and roulette games.

The results of the raid will help the investigation into the gambling ring, which is being looked into by the Kyiv Prosecutors Office.

The move is the latest raid by police against illegal gambling operations in Kyiv, as police carried out a similar raid in June.
