This story was published more than 1 year ago.

Today the Malta Gaming Authority revealed that they've suspended the gaming licence of SFJL Holding Limited due to multiple breaches of the country's gambling laws.

SFJL Holding carries a Type 2 Gaming Services licence in the country, but was found to have breached regulations 9(1)(c), (k) and (j). These areas relate to complying with terms of regulations and law, as well as getting approval before making changes within the company.

Specifics related to the suspension weren't made publicly available by the MGA, and the company hasn't issued comment. The decision was handed down on August 3rd, and SFJL cannot operate while they're suspended. The company does have the option to appeal the ruling.
