Fanatics Opens Sportsbook at Progressive Field

Visitors to the Cleveland Guardians home stadium Progressive Field will be able to get in a wager on the game as the facility has seen the Fanatics Sportsbook open its doors to customers.

The book sits inside the stadium, which hosts up to 38,000 fans for 81 games a year, and it includes two betting windows, four self-service kiosks, and seven televisions from which to catch the action. Other sports action is also supported, including basketball, golf, hockey, and tennis.

Regarding the launch, Guardians VP of Corporate and Premium Partnership Ted Baugh said, "We're very excited to partner with FBG to bring a retail sportsbook location outside Progressive Field. This will provide our fans a very convenient in-person option to place bets."

Fanatics is primarily a sports apparel brand that's been looking to shift to the betting space, having launched their book in the states of Maryland, Tennessee, Massachusetts, and Ohio last week. The company will also be expanding to other markets, as Fanatics purchased PointsBet's US operations for $225 million.
