Gambling charity GamCare announced this week that it is launching a series of themed chatrooms for users to tailor the themes of discussion related to gambling-related harms.
The chatrooms will launch on July 31st and will run from 6-7pm, with the theme of the chatroom changing every day. The days and themes will vary on a week-to-week basis, and include topics like well-being, time allotment for betting, money topics, and speaking with others who also experience gambling harms. Additionally, GamCare will have similar sessions tailored toward women.
Users can log into the chatroom anonymously and participate in the talks.
GamCare is one of the UK's largest gambling charities, as it provides telephone and online live chat assistance for those who're experiencing gambling-related harms. The charity is funded by GambleAware, which itself is a gambling charity in the UK.
