Lithuania Fines Top Sport For Third Time (This Week)

Betting operator Top Sport has been handed a €15,000 fine by the Lithuanian Gambling Supervisory Authority, marking the third fine the company has received in just the past week.

The fine is related to a rule violation coming from payments and deposits to online accounts. The operator was found that a player was depositing funds to other player accounts using his own payment cards, which is a violation of Article 2015, Paragraph 1 of the country's gambling regulations. Players are only allowed to place funds into their own accounts in the country.

The fine comes after the company was fined €25,000 for allowing an underage player into a slot hall. Another €15,000 fine was also issued this week after it was discovered that bets were being automatically placed on an Ezugi live roulette table.

No comment from the company was available at press time.
