EveryMatrix WLA

Betting software group EveryMatrix has announced that it has been granted World Lottery Association Security Control Standard 2020 (WLA-SCS:2020) Level 2 certification, meaning that it is compliant with one of the more rigorous audit standards in the industry.

The certification saw EveryMatrix undergoing an extensive audit by the WLA, ensuring the company's controls, systems, privacy standards, and application security are all in line. In all, there are 21 controls that are tested. For EveryMatrix, the company had its iLottery, iGaming, and sportsbetting platforms assessed, and all passed the audit process.

The certification will help EveryMatrix continue to expand its lottery business. The company already works with Norsk Tipping, the Malta National Lottery, Veikkaus, Hungarian lottery operator Szerencsejáték, and OPAP in Greece. EveryMatrix also holds ISO 27001 and ISO 20000 certification.

Regarding the certification, EveryMatrix CEO Ebbe Groes said, "Security is a top priority for EveryMatrix and achieving compliance with this rigorous standard is proof of our commitment to our existing and future WLA customers."
