Genius Sports Teams Up With Chinese Taipei Football Association

Betting information group Genius Sports has announced that it has signed a data, streaming, and integrity partnership with the Chinese Taipei Football Association, which oversees sportsbetting data for all of Taiwanese football.

The agreement will see Genius providing information for all high-end Taiwanese football matches, including those in the Taiwan Football Premier League, Taiwan Mulan Football League, 2nd Division Taiwan Football League, and others. Additionally, there will be streaming services provided, which can be sent to betting operators.

A sports integrity deal is also being included, in which Genius Sports will help the CTFA identify potential match-fixing through strange betting patterns. This will also include access to the FIFA system.

Genius Sports Head of Customer Success, APAC Jagdish Singh commented on the deal, noting: "We're proud to enter this wide-ranging partnership with the Chinese Taipei Football Association, providing our proven official data, streaming, competition management and integrity solutions. Our technology will be central to their strategy to drive new revenues, engage fans and protect their competitions."

CFTA Deputy General Secretary Liang-Chen Chen added: "We are happy to enter a four-year agreement with Genius Sports. This is a giant step for us in modernising our domestic leagues and maintaining our sport's integrity.
