Gaming operator Betsson announced this week that it has signed a sponsorship agreement with Racing Club de Avellaneda and will have its logo appearing on the football club's kits for the 2023-2024 season.
The agreement is effective today and will see Betsson's logo showing up on the kits of the club's men's and women's teams. The logo will appear on matches in the Argentinian team's league, as well as in international play. Betsson has been working on expanding in Latin America and South America, having recently launched operations in Mexico.
News of the sponsorship comes days after Betsson was fined €2.4 million in Finland for allegedly marketing to players in the country. Without a doubt, it seems that the company is looking to new markets to spread its brand.
