The Nevada Gaming Control Board announced this week that gambling revenues in the Silver State dropped 2.2% in March to $1.31 billion.
The slip was largely attributed to a 51% drop in baccarat revenues, which came in at $64.5 million, down from $131.7 million last year. Blackjack revenues were $132.9 million, while craps revenues were $40.7 million.
Slot revenues were up 0.4% to $906.5 million. Multi-denomination slots made up $510.5 million of that total, while penny slots generated $287.6 million.
Sportsbetting revenues were $43.9 million, up 19% from last year. $25.6 million was bet through mobile devices, with the rest coming from retail locations. Basketball was the highest earner with $44.9 million, while football wagers generated a $13.4 million loss for books. Hockey revenue was $4.9 million, and other sportsbetting revenues were $7.3 million.
Las Vegas Strip revenues were $724.6 million, while Clark County revenues as a whole were $1.015 billion.
