MGA Cancels 4tune-Software Licence

This story was published more than 1 year ago.

This week the Malta Gaming Authority revealed that it has cancelled the licence of betting software group 4tune-Software after the company failed to make required payments.

The cancellation comes as the MGA said that the company violated rule 10(1)(a) of Malta's Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations, which requires companies to make payments to the regulator in order to maintain their licence status. The licence was then cancelled as per 9(1) (c) and (l) of the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations.

The cancellation means that 4-tune can no longer claim to carry a licence from the MGA and cannot provide any gambling services under that licencing. The company must also pay for the funds that are still owed.

News of the cancellation comes shortly after the MGA suspended betting group Totup System for also failing to pay their licencing fees.
