Gaming operator OlyBet has announced that they've signed a partnership with the PGA European Tour for two years and will serve as the tour's Official Betting Partner in Europe.
The agreement will grant OlyBet exclusive marketing rights and will including the ability to feature the Tour's content on its OlyBet TV streaming service. The PGA European Tour is currently being branded as the DP World Tour, and will have 39 tournaments in 26 different countries this year. The agreement doesn't pertain to the UK or Ireland. OlyBet is a brand of Olympic Entertainment Group, which operates land casinos and sports bars throughout the European continent.
The amount paid for the sponsorship wasn't known at press time.
Regarding the agreement, Olympic Entertainment Group CEO Corey Plummer said, "OlyBet will bring to sports fans more of the excitement and thrill of the moments that are so unique to golf and the world-class players filling DP World Tour tournaments."
DP World Tour Consumer and Commercial Director Max Hamilton added: "We're delighted to welcome OlyBet to our partnership community. As a market leader in the gaming industry across the region, they have aspirations to expand their reach through partnerships with major sports leagues and teams.
"At the DP World Tour, we look forward to developing with OlyBet a strong platform to further our fan engagement across Europe."
