Novibet to Sponsor Fortaleza Esporte Clube

Greek betting group Novibet has announced that they've come to terms with football club Fortaleza Esporte Clube and will become a sponsor of the Brazillian team moving forward.

The agreement will see Novibet's logo being featured on the front and sleeves of the team's shirt, as well as on the shorts. Additional signage will be on the team's home stadium of Castelão. The considerations paid weren't made public, but it is understood that the deal is good for two years.

Novibet is one of several betting companies looking to expand operations in Latin America, which is booming as a growing market. More and more users are getting access to high speed internet in the region, providing access to mobile sportsbetting as well as casino gaming. The company is also working on North America, having secured access in New Jersey and has submitted a licence application to the Canadian province of Ontario.

Regarding the deal, Novibet President Rodolfo Odoni said, "We are excited to start our operations in the country and the opportunity to be part of the sports culture in Brazil through the unique and innovative gaming experience offered to our members.
