KSA Fines Red Ridge Marketing €675,000

Dutch gaming regulator Kansspelautoriteit announced that they've fined marketing group Red Ridge Marketing for illegally promoting offshore casinos in the country.

Red Ridge was found to be promoting Casinojager.com, Casinovergelijker.net, Internetcasino-online.com and Nederlandseonlinecasino.com in the country, and continued to do so after they were warned to cease the activity by the KSA. Of particular note were a series of articles promoting playing at the unlicenced sites.

The investigation found that the operator of the sites was found to be an administrator for Red Ridge Marketing, making it possible for them to issue the fine. The person was not named in the report.

Regarding the fine KSA Chairman René Jansen said, "Promoters of illegal games of chance providers also receive our attention. They must also comply with the law, especially when it comes to protecting young adults.

"We will do everything we can to stop these practices."
