Colorado Sportsbetting Revenues Jumps in January

Sportsbetting in the state of Colorado has grown 2.6% in January, with books generating $35.5 million, up from $34.6 million last year.

The numbers were down 13.2% from December's total, and handle was down 4.6% to $547.2 million. Almost all revenue came from online betting, with online books generating $35.4 million in revenue. Retail books generated $106,592 in revenue. Online handle was responsible for $542.2 million, with retail books generating $4.9 million in wagers.

Player win for the month was $511.7 million. Taxes generated for the state were $2.6 million.
