BCLC to Offer Mega Ball in Province

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation is looking to enhance its gaming offering and will launch Evolution's Mega Ball game show product to customers in the near future.

The two companies will see Mega Ball being offered to punters of age in the province of British Columbia, and will have the show broadcast from a studio located in Vancouver. This marks the first Mega Ball launch in the North American market and expands upon an existing relationship between Evolution and BCLC. The two groups have worked together to offer games like Dream Wheel, as well as multiple table games like blackjack and roulette in live dealer configurations.

Mega Ball is a game show that shows players participating in a lottery draw with a host that calls out the numbers. The game can be played via mobile device or on a desktop computer.

"Our partnership with BCLC has continued to grow successfully, and the addition of Mega Ball to its vast portfolio is another milestone in our road of cooperation," said Evolution CCO of North America Jeff Millar. "Mega Ball is uniquely suited for North American lotteries, and we're delighted to be providing it to BCLC and look forward to future developments."

BCLC COO Dan Beebe also commented, adding: "We believe the interactive features and exciting mechanics of Mega Ball will be an instant hit among PlayNow.com players. This is another layer of excitement we get to add to PlayNow.com's portfolio, as we continue our strategic focus to provide players with truly authentic and entertaining online gambling experiences."

A launch date for the game wasn't publicly given.
