MGA Cancels Gaming License of BetDino

This story was published more than 1 year ago.

Last week the Malta Gaming Authority revealed that they've cancelled the gaming licence of BetDino after the company failed to pay relevant fees.

The cancellation actually took place back on January 18th, but was not announced until recently. The regulator claimed that BetDino violated section 9(1) (c) and (l) of the country's gaming rules, which state that gambling companies need to pay their licencing fees in a timely manner and also allows the regulator to suspend licences if those fees aren't paid.

BetDino can no longer operate using the MGA licencing, and can no longer claim to hold the accreditation. They must also remove licencing information on their site.

No comment from the regulator or BetDino was available at press time.
