Empire Casino Expands Gaming Operation

MGM Resorts brand Empire City Casino has announced that they've renovated their gaming floor at the Yonkers-based facility, adding more than 1,000 new games to the site.

The addition makes Empire City Casino the largest gaming floor in MGM's property portfolio, and the sixth-largest in the United States. The additions include likes from developer Konami and other major slot designers, and there are now almost 5,000 game machines and electronic tables to be found at the casino. Empire City Casino added the games after the New York State Gaming Association gave permission to add games from additional game designers.

"If you think the casino floor looks different, you are right. In my 15 years working at Empire City, I can't remember a time where we've had so many new games hit the gaming floor over a relatively short time period," said Empire City Casino Executive Director of Slot Operations Ryan Munroe. "MGM Resorts continues to make the necessary investments to ensure a top-tier experience for our guests. Empire City also has some of the highest payouts in the industry, which means that more of the money played at Empire City is returned as payouts to our guests."

The new games can be played now by punters that visit the casino, which sits just outside of New York City.
