Betting group Betfred USA Sports has announced that they've inked a partnership agreement with the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights, and will become an official sportsbetting partner of the team.

The deal will see Betfred being brought into the league's new digital enhanced dasherboard, which sees moving signage showed on television broadcasts of games. The company will also obtain signage for digital channels and branding on the team's email newsletter and radio broadcasts. Betfred will hold interactive contests at the team's home venue of T-Mobile Arena during period intermissions.

Betfred USA Sports is the US branch of the UK-headquartered company. It has been expanding in the newly-regulated US market, having operations in Maryland and Arizona, in addition to Nevada.

"As a Las Vegas-based company preparing to open our first hometown sportsbook in partnership with Mohegan Casino Las Vegas at the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas, we're very excited to be partnering with the hometown Vegas Golden Knights," said Bryan Bennett, COO of Betfred Sportsbook. "We look forward to growing our business here and supporting Las Vegas hockey in the process."

Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz also commented, adding: "We're proud to be partnering with Betfred as they make their arrival here in Las Vegas. Betfred's US business is Vegas born just like we are, and we're excited to help them launch their brand in Nevada."

It seems to be a great deal for the betting company that, Vegas didn't have a poor season since entering the league a few years back so I just could imagine how popular they are in the whole of Nevada state.
