Michigan Breaks iGaming Revenue Record

The state of Michigan set a new record for online gaming revenue during the month of November, with revenues rising 35.1% to $145.4 million.

The online gaming numbers were up from $141 million in October of this year. The numbers were generated from slots, table games, and other games of chance. Online sportsbetting revenues were down 24.6% to $40.8 million, although handle was up 9.6% to $480 million.

Adjusted gross receipts for both verticals were $156.6 million, which accounted for $130 million in casino gaming and $25.7 million from sportsbetting. Taxes paid to the state were $28.7 million from online gaming.

For the year-to-date adjusted gaming receipts for online casino gaming is $1.3 billion, while online sportsbetting revenues are $188.8 million.
