Betting aggregation specialist Markor Technology announced this week that they've obtained approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to provide their software to licensed operators in the province moving forward, giving the company a foothold in Canada's most populous region.
The licensing will see Markor able to offer operators table games, slots, and live dealer games, and will be able to provide their account management software as well. The company is based out of Gibraltar, but has offices in South Africa, Malta, and India as well. The group's casino software platform includes games from the likes of Leander, Playson, Blueprint Gaming, and many more.
Regarding the licensing, Markor CEO Melissa Summerfield said, "The acquisition of proper licensing and certification has always been at the very heart of Markor Technology's long-term expansion plans, so we're obviously delighted to have been granted approval from AGCO to offer both our content aggregation platform and PAM services to all locally-licensed casino operators in Ontario.
"Being formally registered as a Gaming-Related Supplier with AGCO will open up a lot of new doors for our business and allow us to connect with new partners in the rapidly expanding Ontario market. We're very much looking forward to helping operators in the province further enhance their operations and bolster the range of high-quality casino content that they're able to offer to players."
As of press time we don't have any knowledge as to who Markor will be working with, but that news will likely be reported soon and Casino Listings will update readers as appropriate.
