Amusnet Launches 'Live Russian Roulette'

This story was published more than 1 year ago.

In what may be one of the most misleading game titles ever, Amusnet Interactive has launched a new live dealer game, which it has dubbed 'Live Russian Roulette'.

The game is a live dealer version of the popular wheel game, and does not involve revolvers or ammunition (that'd be pretty grisly). Instead, the traditional roulette casino game brings Russian-speaking dealers and theming that'd be appropriate in the country. The games are broadcast in high definition and will be available for play 24/7 at partner casinos.

The average game length is 42 seconds, which averages out to 86 rounds per hour, all with a theoretical return to player percentage (RTP) of 97.3%.

Live Russian Roulette is available for play now at casinos that offer Amusnet's live dealer platform.

While this is a dumb game, I'm certainly happy nobody will be playing Russian Roulette on a stream with a revolver...

Geez that is in poor taste. I guess they think that there is no such thing as bad publicity. Time will tell I guess...

I feel like it's still a bit touchy subject to have a Russian roulette or any Russian speaking game considering the world events. Of course, Russian players might still look for games like this and enjoy them, but I'm not sure that there's a lot of audience for this.
