Today it was revealed that Esports Entertainment Group's SportNation and RedZone brands will cease operation in the UK effective November 30th, citing a variety of factors.
Gamblers at the sites will be able to use the sites normally until November 30th, after which time they'll be able to login and withdraw funds. This will be open until December 7th, when the site's final closure will take effect. After this time, there'll be a second withdrawal period where requests to withdraw more than £1 will be available. After December 14th, balances will be paid out according to UK rules.
Customer data will be retained by Esports Entertainment Group for 5 years in conjunction with regulatory requirements.
Esports Entertainment Group purchased both brands from Argyll Entertainment in 2020, and has operated them since. EEG is currently running a Malta-licensed SportNation.com domain, and there hasn't been any news regarding closure of that site.
