Game developer PopOK Gaming has announced that it has been granted an online gaming license by the government of Sweden, allowing the company to partner with casinos that also carry a license in the country.
The licensing will allow PopOK to supply their video slots, which currently number 18. The group's live dealer games haven't been sanctioned as of yet, but will likely get the go-ahead in the coming weeks. PopOk also has gotten approval to offer its progressive jackpot for its games, offering big cash prizes for gamblers that hit the jackpot.
As of press time there isn't a list of partners that PopOK will be working with in the market. The company also holds a license in the jurisdiction of Malta.
Regarding the licensing PopOK Gaming CEO Karen Gulkanyan said, "The certification was rigorous in Sweden, and we are proud that our games met all requirements. This is a huge milestone for us, and we look forward to continued success in the Swedish market and building strong partnerships there."
