MGA Suspends Arabmillionaire's Licence

This story was published more than 1 year ago.

This week the Malta Gaming Authority announced that they'd suspended UAE online lottery operator Arabmillionaire Limited's gaming licence for a variety of infractions.

The suspension is effective from October 12th and means that the group cannot undertake any gambling operations under the MGA licence, including accepting deposits or facilitating lottery wagers. The group's betting domain is Playfooz.com. Looking at the site, Playfooz still has the MGA logo in its footer section, although clicking the link will send you to the MGA website, which lists the licence as suspended.

Arabmillionaire was found to have failed to comply with orders from the MGA, failed to discharge financial commitments, breached anti-money laundering rules, and didn't pay their licencing fees in a timely manner.

No comment from Arabmillionaire was available as of press time.

Probably the most severe problem in the eyes of the MGA was failing to pay the licensing fees...
