IGT MegaJackpots Progressive Hit for £1,140,126

This week a gambler hit the online IGT MegaJackpots Progressive for the first time in six months, taking home a huge £1,140,126 cash prize in the process.

The prize win is the 58th that we've recorded from the IGT jackpot since we started tracking it in December 2009. The jackpot is hit roughly every 11 weeks on average, with the average prize being £867,789. The largest win on record is £2,148,947, which was won in 2013.

The jackpot is spread is across a number of IGT slots and it grows with every spin of the reels, as a portion of the bet goes into the jackpot pool. The prize is awarded completely randomly and can be won with any wagered amount.

We don't know where the jackpot was won or any details on the win, but will be updating readers as we learn more.
