France's gaming regulator l'Autorité Nationale des Jeux announced that they've updated their Evalujeu player-assessment tool, which will add a number of new features that will help apply the assessment to different types of gambling.
The tool allows players to answer questions to help identify whether or not they're at risk for gambling-related hard. The service launched in 2015 and has a 31-question examination. After players answer the questions, the tool then recommends how the punter can safely manage their gaming activity. These tools include deposit and play limits, time limits, withdrawal thresholds, and budget tools.
The updates to the tool will include video of people talking about gambling-related issues as well as testimonials from players.
There are estimated to be 1 million moderate-risk gamblers in France, with 370,000 high-risk players.
The updated tool is available now for players throughout France.
