Gambling group Aristocrat Leisure revealed this week that they're rebranding their online real-money gambling division with the moniker Anaxi.
Anaxi was formed after Aristocrat failed to purchase developer Playtech after shareholders rejected the deal and Aristocrat instead purchased Roxor Gaming. Anaxi serves as Aristocrat's third business, standing alongside the land-based Aristocrat Gaming and mobile-focused Pixed United.
The company will design games and be distributed to casino partners in regulated markets. The first games are expected to launch in the United States last year.
Regarding the change, Anaxi CEO Mitchell Bowen said, "We look forward to working with our partners as Anaxi reimagines the world's greatest gaming content online and begins our journey towards becoming the most trusted name in online RMG globally."
We'll be sure to update readers when Anaxi releases its first games.
