Sports Interaction Gets Ontario License

This story was published more than 2 years ago.

Canadian sportsbetting group Sports Interaction has announced that it has been granted a gaming license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and will now be able to provide services in the market moving forward.

The company will be offering sportsbetting services on its website SportsInteraction.com, allowing gamblers to wager on a variety of different events like hockey, football, basketball, baseball, and more. Sports Interaction's parent company Avid Gaming was recently acquired by Entain for $300 million CAD, but Avid had already applied for the license before the purchase.

A launch date for the service wasn't made publicly available, but it's likely that Sports Interaction will be launching the service in the immediate future.
