Four new operators have submitted applications to the state of Ohio Casino Control Commission, seeking permission to offer online betting services in the Buckeye State.

Among the applicants are Maximbet and WynnBet. WynnBet applied under the license of Jack Thistledown Racine, while MaximBet applied through Jack Cleveland Casino. Other applicants include Digital Gaming Corporation, who applied with Belterra Park, and Prophet Exchange, who applied with COLHOC Limited Partnership.

The OCCC is in the process of accepting applications and will review them to judge who meets the state's thresholds for having a sportsbetting license. If granted, the sites will be able to offer services when Ohio launches it's regulated industry in early 2023.
