DraftKings Will Get Permanent Sportsbook at Golden Nugget Lake Charles

American betting operator DraftKings is replacing its temporary sportsbook at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles casino with a permanent book that'll be opening its doors on September 1st.

The sportsbook will have a large space for players to place wagers and hang out, with 300 lounge seats, 30 self-service kiosks, three blackjack tables, 16 video poker machines, and over 3,200 square-feet of TV space broadcasting events. The space will be open 10am to 11pm on weekdays, and weekends from 9am to midnight.

Augmenting the sportsbook will be the DraftKings Sportsbook Bar & Grill, which will offer a variety of meals throughout the day.

Regarding the announcement, DraftKings Senior Director for Retail Sportsbooks Michael Kibort said, "We are thrilled to be opening our permanent retail DraftKings Sportsbook inside the Golden Nugget Lake Charles. The massive space, big screen TV's, odds boards, and dining options will bring the DraftKings brand to life in an ideal setting to experience live sports."
