Sportsbetting group SuperSport has announced that they've come to terms with the Croatian First Football League, becoming the league's title sponsor.
The CFFL is Croatia's top tier of football and the league's new season is slated to kick off on July 15th. This agreement will see SuperSport getting marketing rights for all matches in the league, including having signage on broadcasts and on various media platforms that the league has. This isn't the first time that SuperSport has sponsored football in Croatia, as the company was the title sponsor of the Croatian Football Cup, a large tournament consisting of professional clubs in the country.
Commenting on the deal SuperSport's Radim Haluza said, "SuperSport, as a market leader, aims to continue to invest in the development of Croatian football, which shows its strength and progress from season to season.
"I am firmly convinced that the new season of all domestic football competitions will be the best so far, especially SuperSport HNL."
Croatian Football Association President Marijan Kustic also commented, adding: "I am sure that we all share the tense anticipation of the start of the new season of SuperSport HNL and that, along with the commercial and marketing development, we will witness the continuation of the quality of our league football."
