Pennsylvania Gaming Revenue Hit $5.04 Billion Last Year

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board revealed this week that gambling revenues in the Keystone State hit $5.04 billion over the 2021-22 fiscal year.

Key financial indicators for the year ending June 30th, 2022 were:

  • Revenues up 29.5% to $3.87 billion
  • Land slot revenues up 27.7% to $2.41 billion
  • Land table game revenues up 40.7% to $1.02 billion
  • Sportsbetting revenues up 2.2% to $315.8 million
  • Internet gaming revenue up 37.4% to $1.23 billion
  • Hollywood Casino at Penn National was the top online site, with $481.4 million in revenue
  • Video terminal gaming revenue was up 32.7% to $41.6 million
  • Fantasy sports contests were down 3.1% to $27.3 million

This marks the first time that the Pennsylvanian market eclipsed $5 billion in revenues for a year.
