The state of Nevada's gaming industry has seen its casino industry eclipse $1 billion in gaming revenues for the 16th consecutive month, with the Silver State recording $1.27 billion in June, up 8.1% from last year.
The Las Vegas Strip's gaming revenues were $734.8 million, up 22.7% from last year. Clark County revenues did drop 11% though, as did North Las Vegas (-8%), Laughlin (-14%), and the Boulder Strip (-11.8%).
For the first half of the year gambling revenues across the state is $13.4 billion, up 19.8% from last year.
Sportsbetting revenues are down with revenues dropping 18.3% to $23.8 million. Handle was $490.3 million, down 10.1%. Mobile bets accounted for 67% of wagers.
For the financial year ending June 30th, gaming revenues were $14.6 billion, up 37.3% from last year. This broke the previous record of $12.7 billion, which occurred in 2007.
