Malta Revokes Bet it Best License

This story was published more than 1 year ago.

This week the Malta Gaming Authority revoked the sportsbetting license of operator BIB Limited, which offers services under the Bet it Best brand.

The MGA said that it had provided BIB with a notice of cancellation on December 22nd, 2021 and gave the business the standard 20 business days to show why the decision should be reversed. BIB did make submissions that the MGA found satisfactory to allow for additional time to rectify issues in the initial revocation notice. Unfortunately, BIB didn't make the necessary changes in time and was to suspend Malta operations with immediate effect, submit reports and documents, settle all balances, and remove MGA authorization marks from its site.

BIB made a name for itself, calling the business a sports brokerage group, which provided betting pools and betting exchanges for events.

No comment from BIB Limited was available as of press time.
