This week it was revealed that Kenya's Betting Control and Licensing Board has approved of 11 companies to obtain gambling licenses for the upcoming year.

Those that will be getting gaming licenses to provide betting activities in the country are Odibets, Kwik Bet, Betika, Scorepesa, Betafriq, Dafabet, Killibet, Bangbet, Sportika, Betviva, and A Kick-off Sports Bar.

The operators will be able to offer mobile sportsbetting services to those in the country, providing a number of different sports from around the world, including football, basketball, handball, baseball, and others.

The companies will now be authroised to offer the betting services, but no launch date for operations was made available.

These new licenses come after the regulator revealed that most of the betting companies in the country weren't meeting the requirements, thus opening the doors for the new operators to get in.

Casino Listings News will be crafting new stories as operators begin going live in the African nation.
