Online lottery group Jackpocket announced this week that they've gone live in the state of Montana, allowing gamblers in the state to buy lotto tickets from a mobile app on their phone or tablet.

The launch marks the twelfth American market that Jackpocket is active in, with the service available in Colorado, Arkansas, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, New York, Texas, Oregon, Washington DC, Minnesota, and New Hampshire. Customers in Montana will be able to purchase tickets for the Mega Millions, Powerball, Lucky for Life, Montana Cash, Big Sky Bonus, and Lotto America draws.

Jackpocket has touted its responsible gaming controls, including deposit limits and spending limits, as well as self-exclusion as being important tools that help keep gambling on lottery games safe from user devices.

"Accessibility and convenience are of the utmost importance right now, which is why we're looking forward to offering Montanans, both long-time lottery players and new players alike, a digital-forward way of streamlining their day," said Jackpocket CEO Peter Sullivan. "Innovation and safety are at the forefront of everything we do at Jackpocket, and we're committed to keeping those guiding principles at the forefront of online gaming."
