This story was published more than 1 year ago.

High stakes and bingo aren't two terms you're likely used to hearing together, but Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut is providing high-level bingo action, with cards costing either $15 or $25 per pop.

The max win for the cards are between $10,000 and $15,000 and will play in a 2,200 seat bingo hall, reserved for the big shooters. The project is one of many at the casino, as staff are going to be introducing a VIP Canopy Player's Lounge later this month, as well as a sushi restaurant and Golden Dragon restaurant, which is slated for launch in the winter.

A Great Wolf Lodge waterpark and resort will be opening at the property in 2024.

This high-stakes hall will be open from Wednesday to Sunday, with one session at 10am and the other at 7:30pm.

Regarding the launch Foxwoods CEO Jason Guyot said, "We couldn't be more excited to open our new High Stakes Bingo Hall at Foxwoods. You're standing in a 2,200 square foot brand new, state-of-the-art bingo hall. It's a $7m project. We've been working on it for about a year."
