Nevada Gives Final Approval to Legends Bay Casino

Reno's newest casino, the Legends Bay Casino has been given full approval to begin operations by the Nevada Gaming Commission, allowing the site to open its doors in August.

When it opens, the Legends Bay Casino will be the first new casino in Reno to open since 1995 when Silver Legacy launched. There will be 300 jobs created, and hiring is expected to begin shortly. Some jobs will have a $500 signing bonus.

Legends Bay Casino has been planned for 15 years, having been canceled twice, once due to the pandemic and once due to the 2007 recession.

Commenting on the licensing Olympia Gaming Regional President Court Cardinal said, "We can't wait to not only bring 300 new and rewarding jobs to the community but also to introduce next-level gaming, dining, and entertainment experiences to the Reno-Sparks area.

"We encourage people who are looking for a wonderful new job opportunity to get a head start by applying online at legendsbaycasino.com to join our team."

The casino will open with a 40,000 square-foot casino, restaurants, shopping center, and entertainment area.
